Diallos inherits that refusal but inverts it into action : he wanders the Lands Between not to fulfil House Hoslow's warrior compact but to find a single missing servant, his maid Lanya, taken by an assassin. He arrives at the Roundtable Hold soft-handed, polite, asking for help.
