Brother Corhyn

Last disciple of Goldmask, chief preacher of the Roundtable Hold

'Brother Corhyn's bell bearing, found upon his perished flesh. Offer to the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold to gain access to new items.' Corhyn is a fundamentalist priest of the Golden Order who keeps a small altar at the Roundtable Hold, ministering to whomever will listen. His teachings are precise, dogmatic, archived from the same orthodoxy that the rest of the realm has begun to question. When the Tarnished asks after Lord Goldmask, Corhyn departs the Roundtable to find his master ; he is the last man in the Lands Between who still believes Goldmask has answers worth chasing across continents.

'Bracelets made in the image of Erdtree branches. Minimal adornments made by Lord Goldmask's disciples. Those disciples have long since left him.' That sentence, those disciples have long since left him, is the canonical fact Corhyn spends his pilgrimage refuting. He finds Goldmask on the Altus viaduct, kneels in what passes for the master's company, and translates between the noble's silence and the Tarnished's questions. When Goldmask's calculation completes, Corhyn brings the Mending Rune of Perfect Order back to the throne in his master's name. He survives long enough to see the rune offered. Then, somewhere on the road back, he dies in obscurity, and his bell-bearing finds its way to the Twin Maiden Husks like every other servant's. The Order Goldmask perfected does not memorialise the man who carried it.
