◈ NPCIron Fist Alexander
Pot-warrior of Caelid, the only jar that left Jarburg and returned a champion

Iron Fist Alexander
'A keepsake of the warrior jar Alexander. Found at the core of the dead flesh that once filled the great jar. The jars contain dregs inherited from those who came before. Thus are warriors passed from jar to jar, carrying dreams of greatness.' Alexander is the only Jarburg jar to leave the village. The lore-frame is precise : warrior jars are clay vessels filled with the rendered flesh of warriors who chose to be cooked into a pot rather than buried into the earth. The dregs of every cremation accrue inside the jar's interior, layered like sediment, and the jar's living self is the residue of all the warriors who ever called the same vessel home. Alexander left the village wanting to be a great pot.
'[Warrior Jar] Well well well? I should have known, you scheming little thief. The gods demand vengeance. Vengeance!' He arrived in Caelid, fought the Festival of Champions at Redmane Castle, was wedged stuck in the Limgrave dunes by his own enthusiasm, and called for help in a voice that reads, on the page, like a man who has won the right to be slightly absurd. He gave the Tarnished his Innards on his deathbed in Crumbling Farum Azula, and his shard, when set in a sword, boosts every skill the wielder knows. The most ridiculous warrior in the canon was also the most generous : a jar full of dead men, telling the living to be braver.
