◈ DRAGONAdula, the Glintstone Dragon
The lake-dragon who swore a knightly oath to Ranni's Dark Moon

Adula, the Glintstone Dragon
'Sorcery of Adula, the Glintstone Dragon. Conjures a cold magic greatsword, then delivers a sweeping blow that launches a blade-like projectile of frost. This sorcery can be cast repeatedly. Adula, a devourer of sorcerers, was bested by Ranni and subsequently swore a knightly oath to her Dark Moon.' Adula is the canon's clearest dragon-pact between a sorceress and a wild glintstone dragon. She was a devourer of sorcerers, the spell's text says no more of her hunts than that, until Ranni bested her; the vow that followed is the same exclusive oath Blaidd carried: serve no master but the Dark Moon.
The oath holds strangely in practice. Adula attacks the Tarnished at the Three Sisters, then, wounded, withdraws to the Moonlight Altar high above Liurnia, the plateau of Ranni's own cathedral, and guards it to the end. The fight is optional: the Tarnished can complete Ranni's questline and leave the old dragon her post. If Adula falls there, hers is the last sworn blade of Ranni's household to fall before the Age of Stars; her moonblade-sorcery, teachable to the Tarnished, remains the cleanest evidence of how a Carian princess can rewrite an ancient lineage's allegiance with nothing but a vow.
