◈ NPCFinger Reader Enia
Two Fingers' interpreter at the Roundtable, broker of remembrance-power

Finger Reader Enia
'Remembrance of the Elden Beast, hewn into the Erdtree. The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader. Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes. It was the vassal beast of the Greater Will and living incarnation of the concept of Order.' Enia is the canon's institutional interface between the Two Fingers and any Tarnished mortal enough to need translation. Each demigod the Tarnished slays leaves a Remembrance, a hewn fragment of the Erdtree containing the dead lord's residual power, and Enia is the priestess who reads the Fingers' will and transmutes the Remembrance into either a unique weapon, a great-rune talisman, or a flat bounty of runes. Without her, the Tarnished could carry the dead but never spend them.
'Remembrance of Hoarah Loux, hewn into the Erdtree. The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader. Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes. When Godfrey, first Elden Lord was robbed of his grace, becoming Tarnished, he took with him his kinfolk and left the Lands Between. After the Long March of the Tarnished came to an end, Godfrey divested himself of kingship, becoming a simple warrior once more.' Enia is also the canonical voice of the Greater Will inside the Roundtable, when Gideon's interpretation of the Two Fingers fails, when the Fingers themselves fall silent, she remains. Her counsel is not warm. She offers a price, takes the remembrance, and reads the next instruction in the same flat priest's tone. She is the canon's quiet documentation that ritual still works after belief in the gods who authored the ritual has lapsed.
