❋ DLC · PRIESTESSThe Dragon Communion Priestess
Ancient dragon who put on feeble flesh to slay Bayle

The Dragon Communion Priestess
'The stone heart of a Dragon Communion priestess. Use while disrobed to turn one's human flesh into an ancient dragon. The change cannot be undone except by death.' The priestess at the foot of the Jagged Peak is the strangest officiant in all the Lands Between : she is herself an ancient dragon who chose, against the immortality of her kin, to step down into mortal form. The Priestess Heart description names her sacrifice without softening : 'The priestess was once an ancient dragon herself, but sacrificed that form for feeble flesh to aid in the destruction of Bayle the Dread.' Her body is small and quiet ; her heart is the relic of a god she renounced.
'Favor bestowed by the Dragon Communion priestess in the name of the dragon lord Placidusax.' Her devotion is recorded in the Ancient Dragon's Blessing : 'Each night, the priestess offers her own sleep to her lord, and in turn receives the power of His favor.' She does not sleep so that Placidusax, mad and dying at the heart of Crumbling Farum Azula, may. Her chosen weapon, the Flowerstone Gavel, is a hammer shaped like an ancient flower with four sharp petals, a tool 'capable of dealing heavy damage to dragons,' wielded by one who was a dragon. She offers her heart, again and again, so that any Tarnished who climbs the peak after her may finish what she could not finish alone : the killing of the dread that broke her lord.
Priestess HeartThe stone heart of a Dragon Communion priestess. Use while disrobed to turn one's human flesh into an ancient dragon. The change cannot be undone except by death. Using this heart while already transformed temporarily boosts incantations of the capital's ancient dragon cult. The priestess was once an ancient dragon herself, but sacrificed that form for feeble flesh to aid in the destruction of Bayle the Dread.
Ancient Dragon's BlessingFavor bestowed by the Dragon Communion priestess in the name of the dragon lord Placidusax. Consume FP to increase all forms of damage negation (including physical). This also increases damage negation while guarding as an additional effect. Each night, the priestess offers her own sleep to her lord, and in turn receives the power of His favor.
Flowerstone GavelWeapon of the Dragon Communion priestess. A dragonstone hammer resembling an ancient flower. The four petals and the flower's core are all sharp, ending in points, and are capable of dealing heavy damage to dragons.
