Igon, the Broken Drake Warrior

Bayle's last hunter, dragon-communicant by hatred, dies bellowing his quarry's name

'Armor of the broken drake warrior Igon, from a set comprised of a miscellany of parts. Filthy belongings are attached to this tattered piece of protective-wear. The poor scavenger of battlefields found honor through Dragon Communion.' Igon is the canon's most furious holdover from the Realm of Shadow's old wars, a ragged scavenger in patched-together armor stripped from corpses, who long ago challenged the vile dragon Bayle and was grievously injured and broken by fear. He survived because dragon-hatred kept him alive past every other reason. He practises Dragon Communion, the rite of devouring dragon hearts, but his cult is a cult of one: the cult of killing Bayle.

'Skill of Igon, drake warrior. Ready the bow before unleashing a twisted shot with a great bellow that considerably enhances its power.' Igon's canonical weapon is a greatbow; his canonical skill is a bellow. The DLC frames the duel against Bayle as the canon's only boss-fight that comes with a co-op narrator: Igon, summoned at the platform's edge, screams Bayle's name and his own as the bow's twisted shots rip strips from the great drake's hide. Whether or not his summon falls to Bayle's flame, Igon is found after the kill at the foot of the jagged peak, where he dies of his own joy, his hunt complete. The poor scavenger of battlefields found honor through Dragon Communion is the canon's verdict on the shape of his entire life.
