Mortal hunters who feed on dragon-flesh, broken at the Jagged Peak

The Drake Warriors
The Drake Warriors are the mortal hunters who pursue ancient dragons at the Jagged Peak, the Realm of Shadow's distant southern volcano where Bayle the Dread still rules. Their order is held together by a single substance : Dragon Communion Flesh, an imitation of dragonscale meat created by human hands 'used to sate the hunger of drake warriors, if only briefly.' Without it, the Drake Warriors waste away : the dragon-blood they have already drunk leaves them craving more, and the Communion's older hunters at Caelid's Bestial Sanctum could not have anticipated a craving that would not stop short of cannibalism.
Igon is the only Drake Warrior whose name the canon preserves and whose face the Tarnished sees alive. Most of the others are corpses. The Igon's Loincloth flavour text, 'stripped from a corpse found in the aftermath of a battle, this scrap of cloth smells utterly foul', is also Igon's order's epitaph. The Drake Warriors who climbed the Jagged Peak before Igon were broken, like him, by the dragons they tried to slay. Most never came back down. Their honour is summarised in a phrase Igon's Armor repeats : 'The poor scavenger of battlefields found honor through Dragon Communion.' The honour, in their order, is the survival.
