Eight engraved seals, each a small canon of the realm's elders
The Legendary Talismans
Where the Legendary Armaments record their bearers' arcs in the steel, the Legendary Talismans encode their patrons' philosophies in a single engraved object. There are eight in the base game, scattered across catacombs, ruins, and demigod thrones, each beginning its flavour text with the formula 'this legendary talisman.' Marika's Soreseal and Radagon's Soreseal are the canon's most haunting pair, 'an eye engraved with an Elden Rune, said to be the seal of Queen Marika' / Radagon. The pair raises four stats apiece while raising damage taken : 'Solemn duty weighs upon the one beholden; not unlike a gnawing curse from which there is no deliverance.' The Soreseals are the only canonical objects that admit Marika and Radagon were always already a single tragedy.
Three more name their elder-patrons explicitly. The Old Lord's Talisman 'depicts the ancient king whose seat lies at the heart of the storm beyond time', Placidusax, ruling Farum Azula in the age before the Erdtree. The Moon of Nokstella 'represents the lost black moon. The moon of Nokstella was the guide of countless stars', the Eternal City's pre-Erdtree faith of the abandoned daughters. The Godfrey Icon and Radagon Icon together complete the demigod-political-theology triptych : Godfrey 'took the Beast Regent Serosh upon on his back to suppress the ceaseless lust for battle that raged within'; Radagon 'as the husband of Rennala of Caria, studied sorcery, and as the husband of Queen Marika, studied incantations. Thus did the hero aspire to be complete.' Eight talismans, three lineages, the canon's clearest small ranking of who in the Lands Between mattered enough to be sealed in iron.

Old Lord's TalismanA legendary talisman depicting the ancient king whose seat lies at the heart of the storm beyond time. It is said that the ancient royal city of Farum Azula has been slowly crumbling since time immemorial.
This legendary talisman is a treasure of Nokstella, the Eternal City. This talisman represents the lost black moon. The moon of Nokstella was the guide of countless stars.
A legendary talisman depicting the Elden Lord Radagon. As the husband of Rennala of Caria, the red-haired Radagon studied sorcery, and as the husband of Queen Marika, he studied incantations. Thus did the hero aspire to be complete.
