Seat of the coming dynasty of Mohgwyn, in the lightless depths

Mohgwyn Palace
Mohgwyn Palace lies in what its own map calls the lightless depths, far below the Lands Between. It is here, the map says, that Mohg, the Lord of Blood, is building his palace, to be the seat of his coming dynasty named Mohgwyn, and whatever nightmares that may bring. Mohg is an Omen and the twin brother of Morgott; his Great Rune is soaked in accursed blood, out of devout love for the wretched mire that he was born into far below the earth. Mohg’s Shackle, made to keep a particular Omen under strictest confinement, still retains power enough to trap the once-bound Mohg on earth. Deep underground he stood before the Formless Mother, an outer god who bestows power upon accursed blood: his blood erupted with fire, and he was besotted with the defilement that he was born into. The mother of truth craves wounds.
A place within the palace bears the name Cocoon of the Empyrean, and Mohg claims the sleeper inside it as his and his alone. The Remembrance of the Blood Lord gives his purpose: wishing to raise Miquella to full godhood, Mohg wished to become his consort, taking the role of monarch, yet he received no response from the young Empyrean. His followers render up offerings of blood to drench the consort’s chamber and slake the cocoon’s thirst, and the pure white oath-cloth given by Varré, a trial to be anointed a Knight of Mohg, is soaked with a maiden’s blood. They are told that Mohg yet slumbers beside the Divinity, and to be patient, for the new dynasty is nigh. Of the dead below, the map says the lightless depths hold the grave of an ancient civilization; it does not name them.
Remembrance of the Blood LordRemembrance of Mohg, Lord of Blood, hewn into the Erdtree. … Wishing to raise Miquella to full godhood, Mohg wished to become his consort, taking the role of monarch. But no matter how much of his bloody bedchamber he tried to share, he received no response from the young Empyrean.
A Blood Oath incantation, granted by the Lord of Blood. Creates bloodflame lacerations before the caster, which explode in an instant. After dealing damage, bloodflame continues to build up onset of blood loss for a very short time.
