The body was buried in honour beneath the Erdtree at Deeproot Depths, but Godwyn's deathdid not finish. He became the Prince of Death : a dual being, body still whole and soul still partway out, lodged in the wood of the world. The branches of the Erdtree's roots became his nervous system.
