Promised Consort Radahn

The summoned god, Miquella's vow fulfilled in flesh

"Lord brother. I'm going to be a god. If we honor our part of the vow, promise me you'll be my consort."

Miquella's vow, before the duel

"Let your thoughts be only of love."

Phase 2, the consort's charm

When Radahn lay dying at the Festival of Caelid, his soul was called by Miquella back from across the river of death. Radahn had once promised Miquella that he would be his consort when Miquella ascended, and Miquella, having stripped himself of every doubt, intended to keep that promise. Mohg's body was used as a vessel; Radahn's soul was poured into it. The result, met at the gate of Enir-Ilim, is a fused god : Mohg's shoulders and arms, Radahn's mind and gravitational sword, and at his back a child-Miquella who controls the new lord's heart.

The duel that follows is the final confrontation of Shadow of the Erdtree. Radahn fights with the gravity-magic of his old self, then erupts in a second phase as the Promised Consort, bearing twin swords of cosmic light borrowed from Miquella's charm. To slay him is to break Miquella's enchantment over the Tarnished and over Radahn alike, and to set free a soul that should never have been called back into a borrowed body.
