Stormhill is the north-western range of Limgrave's foothills, the windswept passes the Tarnished walks before reaching Stormveil. Two of the canon's smallest, saddest arcs play out across this ground. Roderika, the Spirit Tuner, sits at the Stormhill Shack alone, the Roderika of canon's tellings was expatriated royalty sent to a faraway land, whose people 'crossed the sea for me. They fought, for me' and were grafted en masse by Godrick's experiments at Stormveil. She is the only survivor.

South of Stormhill, on the Weeping Peninsula's coast, is Castle Morne, the second of the two arcs. The Monument: Siege of Castle Morne records its end as one line: 'A lone hero fights for his vengeance. Only to fall at the hand of Lord Godfrey.' That lone hero is the castle's vanished champion, not its castellan, the Grafted Blade Greatsword is his relic: 'A revenger's weapon, it is burdened with oceans of anger and regret. A lone surviving champion from a country now vanished was so determined to continue fighting that he claimed the swords of an entire clan of warriors.' Castellan Edgar is only the blade's sworn keeper, warden of the castle 'as ordained by Lord Godrick himself', who stays 'to ensure the treasured sword of Morne does not fall into the wrong hands.' When the Misbegotten rise against Morne during the Shattering, Edgar's daughter Irina is found dead, 'my daughter deserved better', and he vows to 'hunt them down, and exterminate every last one of them', turning north to become the invader Edgar the Revenger in Liurnia.
